Most financial advisors focus on businesses that need money. We work with the opposite situation — companies that suddenly have too much cash sitting around and no clear strategy for managing it effectively.
This started happening to us personally. Back in 2018, our Queensland-based consulting firm had its best year ever. But instead of celebrating, we spent months worrying about tax implications, wondering if we should expand, buy property, or just park everything in term deposits.
Every advisor we talked to wanted to sell us investment products or push us toward risky growth strategies. Nobody seemed to understand that sometimes businesses need help managing success, not failure.
So we learned to do it ourselves. Then other business owners started asking for help with the same challenges. By 2019, we realized this was actually a service gap worth filling properly.
